Vollis Beach Response on COVID19
Vollis Beach is closely monitoring all coronavirus developments and updates at the local and national levels. The health and safety of our community and our families are extremely important. We want to be a part of the solution, not the problem. As of March 19th, Vollis Beach is canceling the Juniors Jumpstart Camp and Juniors Bootcamp. Adult spring leagues have been postponed and will resume at a later date. The Vollis Beach courts are closed and will remain so until further guidance is provided by our local, state, and federal authorities.
We are also part of a larger community of volleyball players and organizations. We are complying with all policies implemented by JVA, USAV, AVPA, and AVP to remain safe, healthy, and insured. A number of beach volleyball events around the country have been canceled and/or postponed. As a result, we will not be traveling to any events or tournaments for the foreseeable future. If and when the courts do reopen, we will abide by CDC guidelines regarding cleaning, disinfection, and hygiene. Check back soon for more updates.
